- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Our group of 5 walked in to the Plateau Cafe and it felt tense. Three staff stressing out - about a dozen customers in the shop seated and standing including us. The young girl who took our order and was pleasant enough until our burgers were served at the table. I asked her for a knife and she pointed "they're there" in a basket in front of the counter as she walked towards the back of the cafe. I really wanted to cut my burger in half so I got up to get my knife. After spending around $70 (4 burgers - very average - + pastries + drinks), we got up to leave. I turned around to see our table being cleared expecting a bit of country hospitality..."Thanks guys" or "Have a good day"...no, didn't even acknowledge us. Very poor customer service.
